Congratulations to Brenda & Eric! They had such a Beautiful Wedding. Sorry I haven't had a chance to be on here, as I had a big move and busy working in-between the Holiday Season, but I wanted to feature some of Brenda & Eric's Story. They rented a Beautiful Vintage Car! We were running so short on time, we literally only had 10 minutes to get some of their portraits done, but I guess that is some of the excitement that runs during a Wedding, don't you just love it!
Hair & Makeup Artist Chelsea Parker - Having fun at her Shoot - She is also working on a new Music Project as a singer song writer. Looking forward to hearing more of her music. These are only a few quick pixs I posted, to many to choose from.

We took some beautiful Headshot and Modeling Shots for Pamela for Theatrical and Commercial as well. These are only some of the shots from her session. There were so many to choose from. Thank you so much to Actress & Print Model Pamela Wistrom for allowing us to share part of her session. We shot out at my Country Studio. These shot were both shot indoors and outdoors."
Kids can have fun at there shoot if you just let them be themselves. Make sure they had their naps and a good breakfast or meal prior, not to heavy maybe an hour before. If you can feed them healthy snacks if they get hungry at the shoot like, carrots, water... things like that would be good. If they have to much sugar they can be more like Tigger from Winnie the Pooh...You want them to have fun and be more themselves so they can enjoy the shoot more and be more at ease. Helpful Hits for kids shoot.
Weddings - Helpful Hints and makeup artist.
When looking for a makeup artist, make sure you feel very comfortable with him or her. Take some pictures from magazines of makeup you are considering for your wedding as well as colors of makeup you would like. Are you a more natural girl next door type or would you like a little more dramatic. Maybe you just don't wear makeup and you want just a little color or maybe you're more playful. Have fun with it, take mom or a girlfriend or your pet. (If they will let you take one) She or He is someone who wants to work with you, talk to him or her like your hair dresser, you don't need to rush or pick a makeup artist for the sake of just having one the day of your wedding. I have heard to many brides who cried because they hated the way their makeup artist put their makeup on the day of their wedding. They got one with out trying them out and it could be an invitation to disaster, because she made you more punk or something. Meet with them ahead of time. He/or she should be willing to meet with you before and have a session to talk about your likes and dislikes and she can do your makeup way ahead of time to see if He or she would be a good match for you. You will be a lot happier and excited for him/or her to pamper you on the day of your wedding especially if you already loved what she did. Helpful hints about Wedding Makeup.

Hello Everyone! Hope everyone had a great thanksgiving and getting ready for the Holiday's. I Had unexpected family fly in from out of town over the holiday Week. Been busy running my studio as it is going under construction and well I'd love to start working out of it now, but I guess I just have to be patient and that is ok. Working as a freelance photographer can get pretty overwhelming especially when you are scouting, shooting and trying to find new ways of growing your business and learning new trends, but it's wonderful at the same time. Learning to evolve more in my craft not only as a photographer but as an actress as well, and leaning towards the things that help inspire me and others is such a rewarding experience. There are so many wonderful things to read and things I would love to capture. I do enjoy photographing people, beauty and to discover new things not only about myself, but others to be all they can be. Yes, we are all put here for a purpose and we all matter to someone, even if it's our little four legged friends. So be inspired today try to focus on all the good things you do have in life, and lets fall forward. So keep pressing on....
I just got done shooting a Headshot Session. Sylvia is a Wife, Mother, Friend and Grandmother, can you believe that. Fabulous! She looks so beautiful, very natural. Thank you Sylvia for allowing me to share some of your session. There were to many to choose from...Have fun Choosing! Photographs are also a great gift to give to friends & family members. It's fun putting 2, 3 or 4 together, it helps share a little bit of our experience with you! Every stage of life is important....a gift any family member will cherish forever.......
Gorgeous, Natural Black & Whites
Sorry haven't posted in a while.. been crazy busy.. yes that is good, but doing some catching up in between as well. Anyways, the good news is that my new studio is going through construction right now. I will try to post some phone snapshots. It's studio size, but good things come in small packages and I am excited. As some of you may know a couple of years back our home and business went down during the Wild Fires. I actually took some amazing after the fire shots with a borrowed camera and somehow they went poof during our move back. I wanted to post some but somehow they got lost in the loop. I can say amazing now cause we had time to heal but some beautiful things can come up from the ashes, so I thank God for that. Anyhow that was also one of the stepping stones that really got me to push my little Photography business, Besides everything else, I lost all my photo memories from my daughters childhood, my childhood, family and wedding pictures. We may not realize it but photos show history of our lives, a documentation of our story there is a real importance to documenting these wonderful stories so we can pass them on to the next generation and somehow I wanted to become part of sharing that experience with others in documenting there lives, so here I am Shooting pictures of People, Work, Play, Weddings, Movies....to help build memories. Anyhow just got done shooting some portraits, updating some headshots as well as for background performers. For those of you who don't know what that is, It is those Background actors you see walking behind the Principal Talent on most TV Film and Commercials, yes... there is such a thing. It's actually pretty cool some background casting companies require a certain photo format for there data base.. so you can ask them what they require and go from there. Background is one of those places you can learn more about what goes on in the movies and always wanted to know, it's in introduction to getting your feet wet to see if you can handle up to 14 hours on set. Yes it's not all glamor, but actual work. Besides Photography I also do Acting for Training Videos, Commercials, TV, Indie films and Print work. They also have Stand-ins, doubles and stunt doubles, etc. Pretty cool. If this is something you would like to know a bit about, please feel free to email me and I will see if I can lead you in that right direction. I guess you can tweet me too, please be patient with me as I'm a newbee in the tweetie realm, but I'm getting there. Well until next time... Will touch base. I just posted some snap pixs of the studio under construction. Have a Beautiful rest of the week !
