Red Carpet and Paramount Studios, Los Angeles, CA
Why Not! Sometimes you just gotta pick up your camera and smell the flowers and do something different out of the box! So just sharing a couple shots I took that inspired me. These were taken in San Diego, CA out by Point Loma! Hope you enjoy them! It was a beautiful yet cloudy day just out and about!
Senior portraits don't need to be cookie cutter images. Seniors like to express themselves. Taylor wanted to shoot at the beach, but we also captured some different backgrounds as well. It was a very cloudy day but we wanted to capture that sun behind her as well. As soon as the sun came out we started shooting. Here I also used some studio lighting as well, she looks soft, beautiful and herself. Congratulations on your Senior Year! on to a new chapter in your life! Taylor also loves photography so we captured a few shots with her expressing who she is. Thank you Taylor for allowing me to share some of your session. Blessings on your Journey!
You can have fun shooting your puppy or get some professional shots, they grow fast and you want to capture that moment. I had 8 dogs and said goodbye to my last two in December they were 15 and blind, but they were such a blessing in my life. I thought I couldn't handle having another puppy after my last loss. I took a 3 month break, but my heart was so broken. I was praying for a new possible pup at the right time because there where so many changes going in my life, I felt so overwhelmed, but actually a little pup can be just what we need to help heal in the process and we can give a little one a new home and they can share in their unconditional love! Please adopt from your local shelter when you can, and be a responsible owner, they are truly a gift from above! And they are and can become part of our memories and family! This is Cash a Yorkie Poo!
Congratulations to Brenda & Eric! They had such a Beautiful Wedding. Sorry I haven't had a chance to be on here, as I had a big move and busy working in-between the Holiday Season, but I wanted to feature some of Brenda & Eric's Story. They rented a Beautiful Vintage Car! We were running so short on time, we literally only had 10 minutes to get some of their portraits done, but I guess that is some of the excitement that runs during a Wedding, don't you just love it!
Hair & Makeup Artist Chelsea Parker - Having fun at her Shoot - She is also working on a new Music Project as a singer song writer. Looking forward to hearing more of her music. These are only a few quick pixs I posted, to many to choose from.
So sorry everyone been so busy on both the photography and acting side of things. I Haven't had a chance to post anything here lately. So hopefully I will post some new stuff here. Getting ready to shoot another wedding and some great Headshots, both at the Beach and on location. I also had some move adjustments out on the Coast so well you know how that goes. Will be back soon, In the meantime have a Beautiful Week!
We took some beautiful Headshot and Modeling Shots for Pamela for Theatrical and Commercial as well. These are only some of the shots from her session. There were so many to choose from. Thank you so much to Actress & Print Model Pamela Wistrom for allowing us to share part of her session. We shot out at my Country Studio. These shot were both shot indoors and outdoors."
Kids can have fun at there shoot if you just let them be themselves. Make sure they had their naps and a good breakfast or meal prior, not to heavy maybe an hour before. If you can feed them healthy snacks if they get hungry at the shoot like, carrots, water... things like that would be good. If they have to much sugar they can be more like Tigger from Winnie the Pooh...You want them to have fun and be more themselves so they can enjoy the shoot more and be more at ease. Helpful Hits for kids shoot.
Weddings - Helpful Hints and makeup artist.
When looking for a makeup artist, make sure you feel very comfortable with him or her. Take some pictures from magazines of makeup you are considering for your wedding as well as colors of makeup you would like. Are you a more natural girl next door type or would you like a little more dramatic. Maybe you just don't wear makeup and you want just a little color or maybe you're more playful. Have fun with it, take mom or a girlfriend or your pet. (If they will let you take one) She or He is someone who wants to work with you, talk to him or her like your hair dresser, you don't need to rush or pick a makeup artist for the sake of just having one the day of your wedding. I have heard to many brides who cried because they hated the way their makeup artist put their makeup on the day of their wedding. They got one with out trying them out and it could be an invitation to disaster, because she made you more punk or something. Meet with them ahead of time. He/or she should be willing to meet with you before and have a session to talk about your likes and dislikes and she can do your makeup way ahead of time to see if He or she would be a good match for you. You will be a lot happier and excited for him/or her to pamper you on the day of your wedding especially if you already loved what she did. Helpful hints about Wedding Makeup.
